Q. What size castle do I need to hire and what area is required for the setup?
A. That will depend on what you want, we can supply you with a simple jumping castle or a combo with interactive activities. All our castles suit the 2-12 year old age group. The ages permitted and size of the area you need for a castle is shown with each picture on the Jumping Castle page of this site.

Q. What does a castle cost to hire?
A. Prices start from $180.00 but can vary depending on location, time and length of hire, simply contact us, for your obligation free quote.

Q. What is included in the price of the castle?
A. You will get a clean and safe Castle, with a safety mat for hard surfaces, delivered and setup by our friendly staff. We will go through all safety aspects of the castle. It takes approximately 15-20min to setup; we will then come back after the selected time and pickup the castle Pickups take a little longer as we will clean the castle ready for the next use.

Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?
A. Yes, a deposit is required to cover administration cost. How much depends on the castle that you select.

Q. How do I keep the castle clean?
A. You will be given a list of safety guidelines when hiring a castle. No food, drink, shoes, sand, party merchandise, water etc to be taken into the castle. We know kids will be kids so we know they can make a mess from time to time, these measures helps to prevent any safety and cleanliness issues.

Q. Power Supply?
A. You need to supply 240 volts (standard house hold power). We can plug into any household power point. We will provide an extension cord with a built in safety switch if needed. We can supply a generator at an addition cost.

Q. What access is required?

A. You will need at least a 1 metre wide pathway to get to the set up point for a medium Castle & at least 1.5 metre wide pathway to the set up point for a larger combo castle.

Please advice on booking if there are any steps on access path as castles are up to 200kg heavy and hard to move up steps. If there are steps, the operator may need to have assistance getting to the set up point.

Q. What Surfaces can you setup on?
A. As long as surface is a flat level surface we can set up on any surface. The ground must also be free from any rocks or other sharp objects that may cause damage to the castle. We would appreciate the set up area being cleaned of any rubbish prior to our arrival. Please let us know at the time of booking if the castle will be going on surface other than grass or dirt. (E.g.: asphalt, concrete, pavers etc) We will need to supply sand bags to anchor the castle down.

Q. Is supervision required?
A. All hires must be supervised by a responsible person over the age of 18. We will explain to the nominated person all the safety aspects of the castles use. The children's safety and enjoyment at your function is reliant on this supervising adult. We can supply a supervisor for your function at a rate of $25 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours.

Q. What safety features does your castle have?
A. All our castles are fully enclosed so that no one can fall out of them. The castles are either tied to stakes driven into the ground, or very heavy sandbags are used on concrete or hard surfaces. The castles come with a sun/rain cover to protect the kids from the weather this cover can be removed if the castles should happen to deflate while people are still in the castle, allowing for an easy escape. All our castles comply with the new Australian Standards (Check other operators as many old castles don’t comply). All our staff has Working with Children Checks to protect all of our children from unwanted people.

Q. Can we set up in a public park?
A. Yes. If your function is in a public park or venue you must have permission from the relevant authority. Some areas require permits to set up in a public space.

Q. Do you have insurance?
A. Yes. Jumps Galore has $10,000,000 public liability insurance, so you can rest assured we are covered for your next function. Please feel free to ask for a copy of our Insurance Certificate.

Q. What happens if I cancel my booking?
A. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of your hire your deposit can be used for another day within 12 months of the original date.

Q. What happens if there is bad weather?
A. If forecasted is for bad weather we will call you in the morning to discuss the weather conditions. If you decide to call the event off due to bad weather (high winds or heavy rain) we will refund your deposit in full or reschedule your event.
Most of our castles come with rain & sun cover to provide some protection.
Jumps Galore staff reserves the right to cancel a booking if safety of any persons or equipment are at risk.
If you agree to proceed with the event in the morning and we setup the castles there will be no refunds.
